The UP 117/12 KNX bus transceiver module provides the interface between the KNX bus line and modular bus devices in European flush-mounting installations. It features a 10-pole bus transceiver interface (BTI) socket that accepts bus terminal devices equipped with a matching BTI plug, enabling tool-free device attachment and replacement. The module is designed for installation in standard flush-mounting switch and socket boxes with a 60 mm diameter and 40 mm depth, and is secured by screw fixing. Bus connection is made through a conventional bus terminal block. With an extremely shallow mounting depth of only 18 mm, the unit is well suited for shallow wall boxes where conventional modules would not fit. It supplies the connected application module with bus voltage and communication access, supporting a wide range of KNX pushbuttons, room controllers, displays, and sensors.
